Komyo Reiki

Returning to the roots The first time I heard of Komyo Reiki Kai frowned thinking one more system named Reiki.

Not for a second I thought, perhaps, was one of the few systems that actually referred to as Reiki and has every right to the name. I did not think that one day might come even across the “pond” to get the Master Komyo with Hyakuten Inamoto Sensei. The experience was so wonderful that I decided to share with you all. But to speak of Komyo have to remember a little history of Reiki we all know, some with more detail than others.

It is known that in 1922 Mikao Usui received the ability to channel the universal energy of life during the 21 day retreat on Mount Kurama. He thinks that it has received a wonderful gift to share with others, instead of using only he and his family. Thus was born the association “Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai” in Ayoma, Tokyo in 1922. One of the members of this association we know it all. This is Chujiro Hayashi who received the title of master teacher (the Shinpiden) in 1925.

Mikao Usui came to prepare only three teachers, and who died on 9 March 1926.C. Hayashi shape 13 Teachers Teachers (Shihans). One of them is Mrs. Takata and thanks her, Reiki comes to the West. At the same time, due to circumstances, this technique out of Japan, the only ones who practice in Japan are members of “Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai” which despite being quite as number, fail to spread Reiki, theassociation rules were and still are quite strict. In 1984 the Reiki back to their country of origin by Western Masters. Today there are many elements of Reiki “to Western” systems popular in Japan – and not only there – while the traditional Reiki Usui Reiki Ryoho as has been practiced without interruption and absolute discretion. In 1997 a Buddhist monk nonsectarian, Inamoto Hyakuten decide to approach this method of healing and try to find someone who can transmit and teach Reiki, as it always has been passed in Japan, its country of origin. Does not take long to encounter Mrs. Chiyoko Yamaguchi, student of C. Hayashi. For a year Mrs. Yamaguchi Hyakuten teaches everything she knows, iniciándole 3 degrees in traditional Reiki. Account Hyakuten that meet every Monday and also to practice and meditation, will receive one initiation after another of his Master, method always used by Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai. After the death of his teacher in 2003, founded the center Inamoto Hyakuten Komyo Reiki Kai in Kyoto and began teaching Reiki Komyo system. In my opinion, is a system that is as close as possible to Usui Reiki Ryoho. It has 3 degrees, 4 symbols total: 3 in the second degree and a Master symbol. It also includes some of the traditional Japanese techniques such as: Koki Ho, Ho and Kenyoku Gyoshi, among others. I can not say you have learned something special, if you think from a theoretical point of view, I can guarantee that the energy level has been a unique experience so far! If I had to put 3 adjectives to describe it would be: elegance, simplicity and total harmony.
